Our Family

We have actively been involved in ranching for five generations. Nebraska is still new to us as we sold our previous ranch in Nevada and moved in late Spring/ early Summer of 2022. However, though moving brought its challenges, we are actively embracing the new changes. Here at Albaugh Ranch, we pride ourselves on being able to work in an industry that not only is our occupation, but our lifestyle. And what better way to do that than with your family by your side? Each of us plays an integral part of the ranch. Please see below for a brief introduction to each of us.

Norris Albaugh

Norris is the head of the family and owner/operator on the ranch. He is passionate about the agriculture industry and loves what he does. His favorite part about ranching is the cattle. Whether it is working cows, calving season, or just the quiet moments spent feeding the herd, you can usually find Norris appreciating the payoff of the hard work that he has put into the cow herd.

LaVern is the matriarch of the family and Norris' mom. She can usually be found outside picking up sticks, tidying up, and trying to stay busy. LaVern is an exceptional cook and makes delicious meals for her family. She also makes the best cookies in the world, and visitors and friends very rarely leave the Albaugh's without at least having one or two. She also enjoys chickens and looks forward to having some in the spring.

Helen Albaugh

Helen is the Norris' oldest daughter. She went to college to study animal science, and after a few office jobs decided to come back to the ranch. She enjoys the livestock part the best and hopes to one day take over the ranch alongside her little brother, Waldo.

Wilhelmina Albaugh

Wilhelmina is the middle child of the family. She is currently going to college to receive her animal science degree. She has high hopes for continuing her education. She also stays busy with her different hobbies as well as her business. She is an accomplished silversmith and designs beautiful turquoise designs from stones she cuts and processes herself. Waldo Albaugh

Waldo is the youngest of the Albaugh family. He is a busy sophomore in high school. When he isn't in school, he can be found staying busy around the ranch. He also enjoys any kind of hunting, likes trapping, and can be found doing something outside. After high school, he hopes to go to trade school and someday help takeover the ranch.
