Our Red Angus

We recently acquired red angus cows in the summer of 2022. While we have primarily raised Shorthorns in the past, we are diversifying with red angus. We had the opportunity to buy some and decided to run with it. Red Angus cattle have several positive traits to add to our operation. These include exceptional carcass quality, maternal characteristics, calving ease, moderate size, uniformity, and outstanding feeding characteristics. By crossing our Red Angus cows with our Shorthorn bulls, we hope to run crossbred calves with desirable hybrid vigor. Stay tuned in the future as our Red Angus x Shorthorn calves become available.
